You'll probably get a fancy new back bling to match with it as well, but unfortunately we'll have to wait until at least Week 7 of Season 5 to see who this new character is, unless someone manages to data mine it before then. The Season 5 update revamps the game's map and introduces some new mechanics, such as Rifts that teleport you high up into the air, but the core mechanics of the game remain unchanged. By collecting more Battle Stars and upping their tier (up to a season maximum of 100), players can earn limited-time rewards like cosmetic outfits and XP boosts.
The Fortnite patch notes, published by creators at Epic Games today, calls these "All Terrain Karts", but I think that name might give them a little too much credit. Beyond all of that, the roof of the All Terrain Kart serves as bounce pad, so this vehicle does a bit of everything.

As expected, the biggest changes are within the map.
Marked in red on the map above, the free battle star can be found in the umbrella cave in between Pleasant Park and Lazy Links. Epic Games says that Rifts will instantly take players to a random location when they step into them. The height of the jump will depend on how well players are able to lean back and release at the same time. A drought has hit the area and now it looks like a desert. The very first Storm circle will also consistently do 1 damage regardless of how long the player has been stuck in the Storm. We can now forget about slugging up a hill with our shopping trolleys because this new buggie is fully motorised. For the Nintendo Switch, Epic games has also included motion controls which can be adjusted in the Settings menu.
Almost ten months after its release, Fortnite: Battle Royale continues to be a massive success.
