Liverpool striker Mohammed Salah has won the PFA Player of the Month award for the month of March.

Shehata, who managed Egypt between 2004 and 2011, urged Salah to learn from Neymar's four-year spell at Barcelona, where he was largely overshadowed by Lionel Messi.

The Liverpool Winger is the Premier League top goal scorer with 29 goals; he is five goals ahead of his successor, Harry Kane.

In April, Liverpool star Salah denied rumors about him leaving the Reds and joining La Liga giants Real Madrid.

Liverpool's second game in March was against Manchester United where Liverpool lost 2-1 and Salah failed to save his team. I don't think it is really serious and he can be available for Tuesday but for today he wasn't available.

Liverpool hero John Barnes believes Mohamed Salah would struggle at Real Madrid.

Liverpool's hopes of having Mohamed Salah available for its Champions League quarterfinal second leg against Manchester City were boosted when the forward took part in training on Monday. "Then we have to wait for the reaction, until tomorrow, and then we will make a decision".

Salah limped off during the 3-0 victory at Anfield last Wednesday night with a minor groin problem and the Egyptian global will be assessed later this evening to see if he's fit for the trip to the Etihad.
