Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2 launched in India

That phone made some major changes that turned heads, and since some of the newly announced features to software - such as updates to the Bixby digital assistant - will be made available on the S8 as well, the changes to the S9 may not be enough for existing users to upgrade or for new users to buy. It's interesting to note that this phone now stands "sold out" on the website and there is a "notify me" option for when it becomes "available".

"The Galaxy S9+ and the Sony Xperia XZ2 are the first smartphones to use Snapdragon 845", said Wayne Lam, principal analyst for smartphone electronics at IHS Markit. The specifications of Galaxy A6 is already known and Samsung might have also planned to launch the A6 Plus along with this upcoming variant. Samsung has given the social cam feature in built in the camera App UI, and add on features include live stickers to photos, live filters etc. The Galaxy S9+ meanwhile starts at Rs 64,900 for the 64GB version, going all the way to Rs 72,900 for the top-end 256GB version. The previous J series smartphone by Samsung have model numbers such as "SM-J700", "SM-J710" and "SM-J730".

It features a 5.8-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED edge-to-edge display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio. For selfies and video calling the front camera of the phone comes with a 13MP sensor. It is powered by a 1.6GHz Octa Core Exynos 7870 Processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. The phone runs on Android Operating System but as of now the version of the operating system is not mentioned yet.

The new Samsung J7 Prime 2 is revealed in black color but it is expected to come in champagne gold as well. It comes with fingerprint sensor under its home button. The price of Samsung J7 Prime in Pakistan in PKR 25,000 so it is expected that J7 Prime 2 will have nearly PKR 30,000 price in Pakistan.

Samsung Galaxy S9 features a 12- megapixel rear camera with two f-stop modes i.e. f/1.5 and f/2.4.
