Stranger Things stars Millie Bobby Brown is set to play Sherlock Holmes' sister Enola Holmes in a brand new film series. The storyline of the novel series is about Enola Holmes, who is the younger sister of Sherlock and Mycroft Holmes.

Springer's series began with The Case of the Missing Marquess in 2006. Numerous classic characters from Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes stories also appear in the novels, and all three of the Holmes siblings play a role in the sixth and final book, The Case of the Gypsy Goodbye. This book and the fifth book, The Case of the Cryptic Crinoline, earned Sprinder nominations for Edgar Awards in 2007 and 2010.

Brown is popular for her character as "Eleven" in the Hollywood web series Stranger Things. That's not all she has in the works, though - in addition to the Enola Holmes mysteries, Brown has an upcoming role in the Godzilla sequel, Godzilla: King of Monsters. Come to think of it, the Olsens also used their company to produce a young girl detective series in their straight-to-video series The Adventures of Mary-Kate & Ashley as well.

The project will be bankrolled by Alex Garcia and Ali Mendes under the banner of Legendary Entertainment.
