Now, the publisher and developer Ubisoft has officially confirmed the speculation by putting out a brand new trailer for the game that shows off heightened graphics and more refined visuals. Fans of the series who have enjoyed the latest installment of the franchise will be delighted to note the included packs contain weapons, customization items, and special outfits that include Bayek's legacy outfit from Assassin's Creed Origins.

Originally released on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC, Assassin's Creed Rogue mixes traditional on-foot gameplay with naval exploration, letting players captain an ice-breaking ship - the Morrigan - as an Assassin-turned-Templar hunting down his former comrades. In addition, everyone who plays it on Xbox One X or PlayStation 4 Pro can enjoy it at the 4K resolution.

Assassin's Creed Rogue debuted in November 2014 as a farewell letter from the series to past generation platforms.

The first DLC for Assassin's Creed Origins (our vote for best open world game of 2017) is due out this month.

It's official, Assassin's Creed Rogue Remastered is heading to the Xbox One and PS4 with 4K support and all the original DLC! The game takes you to a variety of locations like New York City, the Wild River Valley, and even up to the North Atlantic in pursuit of your targets.

Assassins Creed Rogue Remastered is set to be released on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on March 20. So, unless you have exhausted that game and are in dire need to hit the seas again, I'd wait for this one to go on sale before filling in these story gaps.
