Villa, who has announced her own interest in a congressional run in Florida, told Politico that she'd never met Lewandowski before the party.

"I'm wearing this silver suit and stretchy jeans, and after the photograph, he smacks my butt extremely hard", Villa told Politico. Villa was reportedly introduced to Lewandowksi for the first time, by a friend at the invite-only party. "It was completely demeaning and shocking", Villa recalled.

Singer Joy Villa joins demonstrators near the Washington Monument during the March4Trump on March 4, 2017 in Washington, DC.

Villa said she initially hesitated to come forward about the incident because she feared "that Corey could badmouth me", but ultimately chose to speak out after seeing numerous stories about sexual harassment in the media, politics, and other fields. She has been a vocal supporter of Trump since early in the campaign. But her relationship appears to have soured with the president's former campaign manager. Lewandowski was arrested and charged with battery for that incident, but the charges were eventually dropped. "He will enter a plea of not guilty and looks forward to his day in court", the statement read.

Despite a video released by the police showing Lewandowski grabbing Fields, he claims the incident never happened.

"I said, if you're busy, don't worry about it, we don't have to take a photo".

Villa also tweeted a picture of the two posing "seconds before he slapped my ass" along with a link of the Politico article. "As a matter of fact, I have never even met you". TheWrap reached out to Lewandowski for his comment, but didn't receive a response.

"I did feel that Corey could badmouth me", she said.
