Fraser Forster came to Southampton's rescue on 31 minutes as he produced a fine save to deny Aaron Ramsey from the edge of the box. The decision paid off in the 88th minute, when the France worldwide rose highest to nod Alexis Sanchez's cross beyond Fraser Forster.

But, surely, to Arsene Wenger, it was better late than never, as the crucial point kept the fifth-placed side within touching distance of the Premier League top four.
