At the Game awards today, Reggie Fills-Aime came out and announced that the first two Bayonetta games will be coming to the Nintendo Switch in February of next year.

With Bayonetta 2 being a Wii U exclusive, Nintendo clearly had an appreciation for the character.

Although this wasn't shown off in The Game Awards trailer, PlatinumGames has since confirmed that Bayonetta 2 will feature local wireless co-op play. The company confirms that PlatinumGames is now developing Bayonetta 3 exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.

It's not known when Bayonetta 3 will arrive, with the trailer simply stating that it's "in development". In the teaser, she was also attacked by a purple ghost-like creature which apparently makes Bayonetta disappear. Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 will release on Nintendo Switch on February 16, 2018.

"Bayonetta" was a smash hit when it was released in 2009 for the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 with many praising its stunning visuals as well as its combat system. This Special Edition comes complete with steelbook, 22 art cards and three sticker sheets.

How Much Does Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 Cost on Switch? From the teaser few things that are seen quite pleasing is that Bayonetta is back in a pretty stylish form with its packed action back to the Nintendo console, specifically after Bayonetta 2 made its entry in the Wii U of Nintendo. Players can choose to download the standalone digital version of Bayonetta for $29.99 / €29.99, with the option to then get the digital version of Bayonetta 2 for an additional $29.99/ €29.99.
