The deal will help Sprint try to keep pace with T-Mobile which offers Netflix as well as AT&T and their DirecTV Now option that can be bundled with their service.

A Sprint spokesperson did not immediately respond to an inquiry about whether the company would obtain a discount on the Hulu service.

The companies also plan to soon offer Sprint unlimited customers the option to upgrade to Hulu's Live TV plan, which offers access to 50 different live TV channels plus a cloud-based DVR. As for Sprint's Unlimited Freedom plan, it's listed at $25/month for the first four lines, with a fifth line being free. The service also offers a variety of original content like the now popular The Handmaid's Tale.

The actual Unlimited Freedom plan costs $60 per month for one line, but for just $40 more, you can bump that up to five lines (or at least until January 31, 2019, when the prices get substantially more expensive). Customers can manually sign-up for the offer at sprint.com/hulu from November 17 to December 8.

It was only a couple of months ago that T-Mobile announced it would be offering free Netflix subscription for its customers. Those on the plan will be able to take advantage of Hulu's Limited Commercials plan, which offers a wide variety of television programming from the likes of Fox, ABC, CBS, and more. Users could then watch the streaming service on any device that has a Hulu app, including phones, tablets, video game systems and smart TVs.
