A Maryland sheriff said that three people were killed apart from two others being wounded during a shooting at an office park in the northeastern part of the state.

"We can confirm we on the scene of a shooting in the Emmorton Business Park", Harford Sheriff said. "Multiple injuries reported".

The two surviving victims are in critical condition at Baltimore's Shock Trauma Center, the hospital tweeted at noon Wednesday.

Authorities say Prince shot five employees at Advanced Granite Solutions, where he also worked. He said he believes the victims were targeted, but couldn't speak to a possible motive.

All five of the victims are reportedly employees at Advance Granite Solutions, according to Gahler. He may be driving a black 2008 GMC Acadia with the DE license tag PC 64273.

Radee Labeeb Prince, 37, is suspected in the shooting, the Harford County Sheriff's Office said.

The statement did not give details about the incident and a police spokesman could not be reached for comment.

According to Gahler, police do not believe any other individuals were involved in the shooting.

At one point, Prince's former boss Philip Siason said: "He came to see me, cursed and yelled at me about unemployment benefits. I felt very threatened because he is a big guy and very aggressive on me", the employee wrote. Investigators are now treating the shooting as a case of workplace violence and don't see ties to terrorism, said Dave Fitz, a spokesman for the Baltimore FBI field office.

Indications are that there is a second location of interest in Cecil County.

The Harford County Sheriff's Office confirmed the facts and asked the media to avoid spreading tactical positions.

Yellow crime scene tape cordoned off Advanced Granite Solutions on Wednesday afternoon. However, the charges were dropped about three months later.

"We were very nervous", Hunt said.
