Chelsea's Premier League title defence has stalled and they now trail leaders Manchester City by nine points ahead of Saturday's visit to Bournemouth, a club whose position in the table Conte describes as "not right".

The Belgium global made it five goals in four Premier League appearances against Eddie Howe's side with a left-footed second-half victor, which beat Asmir Begovic at his near post.

Chelsea's match against Bournemouth on Saturday comes too soon for Kante, with his manager believing he could return against Roma on Tuesday.

The Blues had a goal disallowed from Alvaro Morata, who also had two other excellent first-half chances to score before setting up Hazard's victor after the interval. Hazard said to BT Sport.

"Carlo is my friend and I have great respect for him".

"If someone is happy writing this then I can't do anything".

"Don't forget that season we won [the title] but not one person predicted this at the start of the season of our squad after our transfer window". I think I solved a lot of problems.

Chelsea head to Bournemouth on the back of a good win at Watford but still with lingering concerns after shipping five goals in their last three Premier League games. "You try to ask the winners if it is easy to win, it is a path and you have to follow this path and in this path there is a lot of sacrifice a lot of work, patience, a lot of things". Chelsea: Thibaut Courtois 7, Antonio Rudiger 7, Marcos Alonso 6, Cesar Azpilicueta 6, David Luiz 5, Davide Zappacosta 6, Tiemoue Bakayoko 6, Cesc Fabregas 7, Pedro 6, Eden Hazard 8, Alvaro Morata 5. "They are top and play well with a lot of goals...but we have a lot of games to play, we will see at the end of the season".
