The bug fixing update brings performance improvements and a fix to iPhone 8 users who reported hearing crackling/static noise coming from the earpiece of their device during phone calls and FaceTime calls. It means the iPhone 8 battery is smaller than the iPhone 7 (1,960mAh), and the 8 Plus battery is smaller than the iPhone 7 Plus (2900mAh).
This is obviously a concern with the device only being released on 22 September with the only significant changes from the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus being wireless charging and improved cameras. Many have already done this just because the sales for the iPhone 8 are not spectacular.
iPhone 8 and 8 Plus models haven't been available long, but a couple of users have reportedly experienced major problems. The report claims that the iPhone 8 Plus unit was replaced and has been sent to Apple for investigation.

The newly bought smartphones which split, have been returned to Apple. The study was a dud because Harvard guys found that there was a spike in Google searches for "iPhone slow", spike around the time of the release of a new model. Apple official too believes that the problem could be due to the battery swelling.
My biggest complain with the iPhone 8, along with the lack of a 3.5mm headphone jack again, is that it still uses an LCD screen that only has resolutions as high as 1080p. It's also possible that a third-party charger was used in the Taiwanese owner's case, even though the owner claims she used the Apple-provided plug adaptor and cable.
If you are downgrading to iOS 10.3.3, then I would highly recommend that you make up your mind about it immediately.
