Last week, Amazon offered their Music Unlimited service for $1 a month to students who had Prime.

The bundle called "Spotify Premium for Students, now with Hulu" will offer the same features existing music without ads offering for undergrads at Title IV accredited colleges or universities, according to Deadline. Today the two companies announced that they're teaming up to bundle Hulu and Spotify Premium together in the same subscription.

Right now, this new streaming bundle from Spotify and Hulu is only available in the U.S. However, the companies did described this as simply "the first step" in bundling their services together, hinting that it may become available in other markets in some other form.

Furthermore, if you are already subscribed to the Spotify student deal, you will get Hulu automatically with this new subscription.

It's the first time that Spotify has partnered with a TV and movie streaming service, but it's not the company's first foray into video and TV content. Hulu's shows include original content like the hit drama "The Handmaid's Tale", and exclusives such as "Seinfeld" and "Fear the Walking Dead". Comcast Corp, the largest USA cable provider, offers a special cable package to students at about 100 campuses. Existing Premium for Student members should go to their accounts to switch plans. T-Mobile US Inc said Wednesday it will offer a free Netflix subscription with its unlimited data family plans. And Spotify does verify enrollment through SheerID, so if you were hoping to use your old undergraduate email address to game the system, that's probably not going to work so well for you.

The entertainment bundle, $13 cheaper than the regular combined price, is the latest effort in the industry to gain young millennial customers, who favor low-priced online streaming and listening.
