Lamborghini Alpha-One Is a $2450 Smartphone That Lives in the Past

Tonino Lamborghini is the name of the company that makes luxury phones that wear the brand of the famous sports cars.

Lamborghini, Italy's renowned luxury car-maker has launched an ultra-rich smartphone called the Alpha-One at an exorbitant price of $2,450.00 which is approximately Rs 1, 57,130.

Supercar brand Lamborghini has now come out with its latest offering that shares an important feature with all its other sportscars- you can't afford it. The Alpha-One is made from the "finest materials, including handcrafted Italian leather and a liquid alloy developed specifically to resist corrosion whilst remaining lightweight". However, the Alpha One boasts advanced processor, is camera-focused, and also supports dual-SIM card slots.

"Entering Harrods and the Dubai Mall means that Alpha-One has been recognized worldwide as a premium smartphone thanks to its innovative specs and the brand's added value", said Min Byeong-Gon, VP of Korean IT DASAN Networks. Earlier, Lamborghini has launched Antares, and 88 Tauri smartphones and the new Alpha One becomes its third smartphone.

When it comes to memory capacity, the Alpha-One features 4GB of RAM with 64GB of storage, which is expandable up to 128GB. An Italian leather case is also provided with the phone. The smartphone comes with 5.5-inch 2K AMOLED display with 2560x1440 pixel resolution. The handset was powered by 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and packed in 3GB of RAM. It ships with Android 7.0 Nougat. There are volume controllers on the right, while on the rear, there is a circular camera ring, fingerprint sensor, flash, and the iconic Lamborghini logo placed in linear fashion.

On the front, it packs Dodly Audio powered stereo speakers that offer 3D surround sound.
