According to TMZ's sources, West believes that Tidal, the artist-owned service, owes him more than $3 million.

However, insiders say Tidal is refusing to pay because Kanye allegedly hasn't delivered all of the videos promised in his contract.

Now, JAY-Z has responded to Kanye.

West, says TMZ, claims that the album brought 1.5m new subscribers to TIDAL - and that he should have been paid an agreed bonus as a result.

According to TMZ, West made a decision to leave the music streaming service after being owed $3.8 million. "Our sources say Tidal's position is that Kanye didn't deliver the videos required by the contract".

Kanye and Jay-Z's friendship has deteriorated since the duo released their critically-acclaimed joint album, Watch The Throne. West's actions were a response to Jay-Z's lyrics, but this legal dispute seems to have dragged on for at least a month previous.
