Here's everything we've heard so far about watchOS 4.

watchOS 4 will hit all eligible wearables later this fall.

Apple has just announced that watchOS 4, the next version of its smartwatch platform, will be arriving later this fall.

WatchOS 4: When will it be available?

A new Music App: Apple acknowledges that music wasn't an Apple Watch strong suit.

WatchOS 4: What's new? The app will now suggest slight variations and tips, helping the user achieve its workout goals. You can easily play music, rotating the crown to get your playlist running.

A trippy Kaleidoscope face shows a symmetrical pattern that changes throughout the day (insert High Sierra joke here).

There's also our new favourites, Toy Story watch faces!

Finally, the Toy Story watchface isn't the same as Micky Mouse - it features Woody, Jessy, or Buzz in some amusing animations. This feature will afford users a more accurate and comprehensive breakdown of their workout statistics. For instance, you may see a character climbing on to the watch face from below. Also, the new iPad Pro will feature increased compatibility with Apple's stylus, and the Notes app will now serve to register the user's handwriting.

You will see a sparkly animation when you've filled your rings in Activity. The updated Pool Swim workout automatically tracks sets and rests, pace for each set, and distance for each type of stroke.

Plus, WatchOS 4 introduces a mode called "Gym Connect", which allows you to sync directly with gym equipment like treadmills and ellipticals. In addition, Apple has partnered with several fitness equipment manufacturers to enable two-way real-time data exchange between the Apple Watch and gym equipment. Then your heart rate is read by the watch and sent to the equipment, and data like incline and speed is sent from the equipment to your watch. The Music app supports multiple playlists, too.

The Activity app will receive updates with some flair for celebrating your milestones. Native core bluetooth support, for example, is coming to Apple Watch. That means you will have the ability to link and work with smaller wireless products.

The only major announcement that was made about the Apple TV was that Amazon is finally coming to the users of Apple TV! Instead we got three more faces from Apple. A lot of visuals are changing: the Workout app has a new light gray and neon yellow color scheme with "tap and go" icons for starting exercise tracking; the Dock will be organized vertically instead of horizontally; a new News app will come on the Watch; and the Music app has been redesigned.
