Officials explain Draymond Green technical foul mishap

Former Michigan State and Saginaw High star Draymond Green was calm Thursday when questioned about an argument between his mother and a Cleveland Cavaliers fan after Wednesday's NBA Finals game.

"I thought they called it on Draymond", Kerr said. "They don't seem to be the sharpest people around". Then I thought the second one Draymond was going to get kicked out.

His technicals - the one called and the one that wasn't - overshadowed his shooting and rebounding. He said he knew all along the first tech wasn't on him.

The box was changed after the third quarter to indicate Kerr had received the first technical. See below. The second technical foul would have led to Green's ejection from the game. Again, this was kind of a weak technical foul call by the refs, but it was called.

Late in Game 4 previous year, Green swiped at LeBron James' groin and was subsequently given a flagrant foul.

On Thursday, the Golden State Warriors forward called out the Quicken Loans Arena faithful after video surfaced of his mother, Mary Babers-Green, getting into a heated altercation with a fan and security immediately following Game 3.

Listen, even as a Warriors fan, this is some really bad looks for the National Basketball Association.
