The Sears at Regency Square Mall in Henrico is one of dozens of stores around the country that will close this year.
The list of closures was released internally on Tuesday, according to Business Insider. Most of the stores are expected to close in September.
The embattled retailer has added 72 more stores to its list of upcoming closures.
As Sears Holdings continues to struggle, the chain has once again updated is restructuring plan. He said that his wife, who also works at the store, was there for the announcement.

Retail Dive, a website that covers the retail industry, says Sears Holdings will be closing some 250 Sears and Kmart stores this year.
News of the latest round of closures was first reported by Business Insider, according to USA Today. Our members and customers can also shop at our other Kmart locations, which are listed here.
The closings include the Cortlandville store and two others in Central New York.
Meanwhile, Marshalltown's Sears Hometown Store, which is a privately-owned franchise business, remains open for business.
Sears has stores at Whitehall Mall and Phillipsburg Mall and a hardware store at the Northampton Crossings shopping center in Lower Nazareth Township.
