Reigns interrupted his match later that night against Kalisto to dish out a storyline attack, focused on Strowman's injured shoulder and elbow. Come to find out, it will be longer than that.

Braun Strowman's injury has forced the WWE to make a huge, blockbuster match.

The Rock for President? Strowman flew back to the United States last Wednesday, according to WWE, and underwent surgery the next day in Birmingham, Alabama. During the procedure, it was revealed, among his other injuries, that Strowman's elbow had been shattered, and he is expected to miss up to six months of action as a result. But since going solo last summer, the native of Sherrills Ford, North Carolina, has progressed up the card at a rapid pace, becoming a featured main event performer on Raw thanks to a pair of impressive matches against Big Show. Reigns fought him off by slamming an ambulance door into his arm multiple times. Balor jokes about wanting to hit Rollins with a steel chair and says he felt worse for Rollins than he did himself.

On "Raw", general manager Kurt Angle announced that at next month's Extreme Rules event, there will be a Fatal Five-Way match between Bray Wyatt, Seth Rollins, Samoa Joe, Finn Balor and Reigns with the victor getting a title shot against Lesnar in July.

There had been initial optimism that Strowman's injury would keep the big man out for just one or two months and that he may have made it back in time for WWE's July PPV Great Balls Of Fire.
